SuperBill

I have to brag about my hubby a little because he really has done so many amazing things this year! Just to name a few....he proposed to and married me, which included adding a feisty and very lovable four year old to his life, as well as lots of wonderful and protective friends and family. He has continued to do all the things he did before like teaching high school freshman (yikes), coaching basketball and baseball (baseball made it to their second playoff game), and almost completing his master's degree (six more credits in June)! He has almost met his goal of losing 50 pounds (five more to go) and is healthier than he has ever been (I'll need that inspiration post-baby).

In the midst of all of that, he also has managed to find little ways to enrich Langley and my lives every day. He is a pro at laundry folding, dishwasher unloading, and especially cooking Saturday morning pancakes (which results in more time for me to sleep in). He makes us laugh, and tells us he loves us several times a day. He and Langley have a song they sing every night before bed and she has almost learned the Lord's Prayer by heart with him. Bill has taken on the role of parenting Langley with ease and, as she said that other day at graduation when we couldn't find him, "We have to find him, we can't live without Bill!"

So, needless to say, I'm really happy that Bill is in our lives. He was an unexpected find at an unexpected time in my life, and I'm thankful for him! By November he can add "dealt with Kate for nine months while she was pregnant" to the list above. I'm excited for all of us to experience adding this new person to our family.

what a sweet wife you are. I love that bill is in your life too. I am thankful that the Lord provided him for you and Langley. And I can't wait to find out what you are having. My prediction, a boy! You know, I'm rarely wrong.

love you
