Magic

We took Langley to Disneyland last week. She didn't know until the night we got to California that we were going. It was really one of the most magical things to watch an almost five year old take all of that in for three days. We met our friends Shane and Dylan there. The picture above shows Langley's reaction the moment Dylan told her that we were going to Disneyland in the morning. It was priceless! On the shuttle on the way there she said, "Mom, I'm so excited I just want to scream!" She took the WHOLE thing in for three days. We rode the teacups four times, met princesses, watched the parade, walked through Cinderella's castle, and watched the fireworks on the last night. Our only temporary moment of sadness was when we skipped up to It's a Small World singing the song, only to find that it is CLOSED until November of 2008. Langley got over that quickly, but I was so sad!

As we walked down Main Street at about 10:30 p.m. on our last night there, I said, "Say goodbye to Disneyland!" Langley turned around and looked at the castle and started crying in the middle of the street. When I asked her what was wrong, she said, "I don't ever want to leave this place!"

That look is priceless. Way to go, getting it on camera. I love it, I nearly choked on my water when I saw it.

and her crying about leaving. I'm definitely taking eloise when she is 5!

Wait until Lily is at least 4!!! Too many small kids being carried around looking exhausted! And don't go during spring break!

I sooo didn't want to take my 'all-things-princess-loving' girls and it by far was the best time we've had on a vacation.

Course...this disneyland was in Paris...making it that much more tolerable for mom and dad. :)

It's an outfit I got on clearance from Macy's. The leggings are black with lace on the ankle - and I got it about a month ago. It's that Paper Doll brand.
